PS1-ify Blender Add-on v2.0.0
Consider supporting development by buying this add-on for €5
Easily import all the settings to make Blender look like a PS1 game! I will add more console presets in the future, just let me know which ones you want. To install the add-on go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > Install and select the .zip file. A panel should appear named PS1-ify in the N-panel in View3D.
This is the first add-on I've ever made so if you find some things I could improve on, please tell me. Thank you for your continued support!
To add your own models, follow these steps:
- Prepare your model in a .blend file with packed textures.
- Create a render of your model (256x256px).
- Save it and give it the EXACT same name as your model (e.g. my_model.png).
- Navigate to "C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\4.5\scripts\addons\ps1_ify\assets".
- Open "ps1_ify_models.blend".
- Go to File > Append and navigate to the .blend file you made earlier.
- Save the "ps1_ify_models.blend" file.
- Copy the render you made earlier to "C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\4.5\scripts\addons\ps1_ify\icons".
- Reload Blender.
